Upload farm map

My Farm

Already using another farm mapping system? Bring your paddocks to HawkEye.

We've done our best to make creating your own paddocks simple but understand that your time is precious.

If you are already using another farm mapping system and have had your farm map created by GPS, and want to bring your paddock data to HawkEye, there will be no cost by doing the following:

  • Export your paddock data from the system you are using to shapefile or DXF format or request a shapefile from your mapping company.
  • In HawkEye go to My Farm > Upload Farm Map.
  • Select your file .
  • Select Submit.
  • Your map will now be on its way to our GIS team for checking and uploading.  This should occur within 15 working days.

In the case of shapefiles, you need to upload multiple files (.shp,.shx,.dbf,.prj) all of which are required for us to process your farm map. You can upload multiple files at the same time, or package them as a zip folder. Select all required files in Windows Explorer, right-click and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. In the case of DXF format, you will only need to upload a single file.

If you require your map sooner, please contact the HawkEye support team and let them know so we can expedite your request. We will provide the best map we can from the data provided but are not responsible for accuracy of the data provided to us. Any editing of the completed map in HawkEye is your responsibility. Remember, doing it this way is free of charge.

Please contact your current farm mapping provider for help exporting or requesting shapefiles or DXF’s.
