Farm information

My Farm

The Information tab lets you view all the land area units that make up your farm as a list, providing key information at a glance: name, area, and recent events.

Information

You can switch between paddocks, blocks, and management zones using the selection tool in the top left corner. You can also delete areas, record events, view details of the area, go to nutrient reports and view the selected areas on the map.

What is a the difference between the areas?

  • The area is the HawkEye calculated area for a paddock, management zone or block(LAU).
  • The effective area defaults the same as the area but can be adjusted if the calculated area is not accurate enough.  This is usually on areas such as hill blocks as the calculation does not take into account slope
  • The spreadable area is the effective area less any intersecting exclusion zones.

Can I sort my list?

You can change the list order of your paddocks, blocks, and management zones using one filter at a time. Just click on the heading you would like to sort.

How can I see what I have selected?

Paddocks, blocks, and management zones that you have selected (either from the list, or the map) are listed in the upper pane and will be highlighted on the map.

What data can I export?

Everything in your selected paddocks list (upper pane) can be exported as either a PDF, CSV, or Excel spreadsheet.
